Territory
The territory, under the province of Pavia is 1,070 sq. Km. with lowland area under 200 meters s.l.m., hilly area area between 200 and 300 meters s.l.m. and over 350 meters, with peaks up to 1,724 meters s.l.m. The predominantly dry climate and the thermal excursions created by the updrafts of the mountain areas have made the Oltrepò an area very suitable for the production of grapes and wine. The soils of the hilly area, consisting of sedimentary marine rocks with significant clayey and higher components of chalky origin, are at best both the sparkling wines and the red wines.

With its vineyard area of 13.269 hectares, the Oltrepò represents 60% of the entire surface area of Lombardy, while per hectolitre of wine produced, is the third area in Italy.
Storia
The oldest human settlements in Oltrepò date back to the Neolithic period (5,000-2,500 BC). Through the consular roads the Roman Empire took over and following its defeat came the barbarians who mingled with the stocks: Etrusco, Celto, Gallo, irioligure and Latino. The oldest Christian witness dates back to 453 and is the Christian tombstone of Oriolo.
Cultura
Numerous, in Oltrepò, are the noteworthy frescoes present in several churches and chapels of important artists including: Michelino da Besozzo, Bernardino Rossi and Bartolomeo Suardi known as Bramantino.
Antichità
The genotypes of Pinot Noir were cultivated in Oltrepò since the ancient Romans.
The first certain traces of production of Metodo Classico, in Oltrepò, date back to 1870.
Currently the Oltrepò represents the third area in Europe for the production of Pinot Noir.

Winery opening
Winery opening and start of collaboration through a protocol signed with the University of Milan Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences based on the study of multiple clones of Pinot Noir.
2013

A.I.S. Lombardia
Collaboration with A.I.S. Lombardy, through educational tours in the cellar and masters in agronomy.
2014

Expo
Expò in Milan where we are chosen by the Lombardy Region as ambassadors in the Palazzo Italia of Lombardy excellence. Over the duration of Expò, over 2,000,000 people have passed through Palazzo Italia, establishing a great recognition in Italy and in the world.
2015

IULM
Signed collaboration with IULM University, at the Neuromarketing Laboratory with a communication project through a Master in Food and Wine Communication. In the same year we opened four important markets: China, Hong Kong, Macau and Singapore. In Italy we have started a collaboration with the Heineken Group through Partesa for the distribution of our wines.
2016

Catholic University
Open collaboration with Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Piacenza with Master Venit in English. U.S. Market Opening and consolidation in China, Hong Kong and Macau.
